The Philippines was discovered by Ferdinand Magellan and they named it Las Islas Filipinas . We have a rich natural resources an plenty goods , beautiful beaches and many nice places . We also have aplenty of spices. The people were living with a peaceful and happy life. Our country is an archipelago w/c has many island so that there there is no communication between other islands because of large gaps.Because of the natural beauty of our country , many colonizers tried yo own our country but they fail. Many were sacrifice and died against them. They don't give us right to learned a lot, to have a better education and also they corrupt us and collect taxes. they Christianized that's why most of all are catholic.

   During the time of Spanish, many people have an idea that there is an evil system against them. The patriotism become deeper and it was a beginning of war between Filipino's and Spaniards. Dr. Jose Rizal, Andres Bonifacio, Diego and Gabriela Silang and many other hero sacrifices there lives to have a peace and justice in our land. This was a  big history that we ever had through the lives of Filipinos. All the pains and wounds came to the hearts of our countrymen before . There is no justice and freedom but full of heartaches . Every single day they pray and caught some strength to survive . They really want to be free so that they fight for our right  no matter what happen.just to save our countrymen and our country the p\Philippines. Sadness and tears fell to their faces but their efforts is not wasted.

   Nowadays, each person celebrate our independence day, the day we became free against through the colonizers. We begin to feel free not hopeless. It remind us the importance of our tradition, dress, religion, food and many other's. Every time we begin to think that in every word that we spoken, in every single thing that we do, there should be one source, the Colonizers. They contribute us many aspects . How about our religion? The Christianity of many Filipinos ? It is a signed that we colonized and they begin to become a part of our life. For me, i valued them because they give much a big impact in our lives . They teach us and they discovered us, for being Hospitable , polite and many others. Without them there is no such Filipinos that we are calling right now to ourselves . We become a true Filipinos because of they made it as one. That's all thank you!..
